How much will an interstate move cost?
Interstate removal costs - to and from Sydney - can cost between $590 to $5,000 depending on where you are moving to/from, how much furniture is being transported, and whether you choose traditional truck services or a backloading service (which can be up to 40% cheaper). Moving a three bedroom home from Sydney to Melbourne for example, will cost up to ~$2,500 on average.
Moving costs are highly dependant on volume and distance - you can either use a calculator online or get a quick quote by filling in a few details to get a free, no-obligation estimate.
Can you price match a competitor?
You bet. Who doesn't love a bargain? Send us through a competitor's quote for the interstate move and we'll match it.
The beauty of a price match guarantee is that we're always going to be provide a better long distance move, for less.
How far in advance do I need to book?
For long distance move, you're best booking with at least three weeks notice. You can book further out - there's certainly no harm! After all, you've probably been planning this move for months.
We provide last-minute moving services for interstate moves where you need to transport furniture urgently, or your previous mover has fallen through. We regularly have interstate trucks going in and out of Sydney.
Why are interstate moving costs more expensive?
The biggest difference is distance - we need to be able to safely transport your furniture over a longer distance, which increases fuel, labour, and general logistics.
We also need to make sure that our trucks are well-maintained and built for longevity.
If you're looking for a budget or cheap interstate move, we recommend booking our backloading service - where you can share the load (and costs) with another mover.
