Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a backload move take?
Backloading will depend on the truck booked and the route/service. The purpose of backloading is to combine two or multiple loads into one truck, to save on time and money. That means that your load may be shared with another that is going to the same state, but not directly to your home. We aim to have all backloads completed as quickly and efficiently as possible - most moves are completed within 2-4 days of pick up. Your moving coordinator will be able to confirm the the delivery date for your route when you're booking.
Are my belongings safe and insured on a shared truck?
Absolutely - all belongings are safely packed, and all Breeze moves include goods-in-transit insurance as standard, covering fire, theft and damage
How far in advance do I need to book?
For long distance move, you're best booking with at least three weeks notice. You can book further out - it usually means you have more choice on dates and when your belongings will be delivered. Dates book up quickly, but for backloading, we have more flexibility to find the right amount of space for your belongings in a short turn around.
What are the main differences between Backloading and Premium?
The main difference is that with backloading you'll be sharing your truck with another load - your belongings are loaded onto one of our interstate trucks alongside another customers. Backloading is best suited for last minute, small moves, where there is more flexibility on the customer's end.
Breeze Premium includes a truck reserved specifically for one customer and their belongings. A Premium service includes two 2-3 removalists, a dedicated account manager, your choice of moving date, and more space for bigger loads.
